Olearia Villa Ada is a microenterprise from Calabria mainly involved in processing and selling edible oils.
What is its role in the project?
It carried out technical tests and tested the machinery for extracting and enhancing the oil. It was responsible for separating the lipidic component from the rest of the biomass for anaerobic digestion. It received input from UniCal and CUEIM on planning, scientific issues and oversight.
In summary: Developed the technology for enhancing the lipidic component of the algal biomass.
